Well. That was the most screwed up dream ever.

Dream? Nightmare is more like it.

I dunno, parts weren't so bad. Like actually knowing my family was sort of nice, especially having actual memories of my dad. But I'm still glad to be me again. Little German gypsy girl was a bit on the weird side.

Little German gypsy girl? I demand story time when I show up with your clothes. :)

She had the outfit and everything.

....How did you get into that outfit anyway?

I have no bloody idea. It happened at the end, when we were chasing Haller through the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade. In January.

Probably made about as much sense as the doors. Or the phonebook. Or the seagull.

Maybe parts of it were not bad for you...

That was some pretty creative swearing, there. By the way.

That world was not real. That was not me. I do not use such horrible words. I do not say such horrid things.

Plus you had a boyfriend and demanded to be called "Princess".

I seem to recall a certain someone saying "Yes, we actually need to touch you... ask the seagull." Very persuasive arguments you lot came up with. The same certain someone who somehow expected people to keep up with him when he was utilizing a vehicle and the others were on foot or helping the others who were on foot.

At least I did not tell anyone "Hi, we just kind of need to touch you for a second."

Given that we succeeded and are all back to what passes for normal, I challenge you to find the actual flaw in my very successful plan.

From: [identity profile] x-aerial.livejournal.com
Honestly, I have to say that we succeeded despite the many flaws in what you for some reason desire to claim as your plan.

"Yes, we actually need to touch you... ask the seagull."

Words fail me. But I'm glad you're all awake.

I am pleased to say that I managed to get through this whole experience without telling anyone that I needed to touch him or her and without initiating any sort of touching someone else against his or her will.

Yeah, I got Lorna telling me she needed to touch my skin. Which didn't translate into German the best way. I still feel sort of bad about smacking her the way I did - for once she was trying to help. Still, I guess we're even for the piercings now.

I am sure that someone will be more than happy to fill you in on all of the details. I will now go into hiding.

Just teasing, Crystal. And at least you didn't end up in a poofy dress? I swear, the fates are determined to make comments about my dress sense. ;)

Right there with you. Jail is the lose.

If I ever -ever- EVER in a million billion years say that being X-factor positive is bad, someone hit me. I'm going to out just as soon as they tell me if my foot is not broken again to go get a model Porche so that there will be something to hit me with.

Date: 2007-01-28 06:06 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] x-skin.livejournal.com
...why a model Porsche?

Date: 2007-01-28 06:25 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] x-wildchild.livejournal.com
Because I stole a Porche before I got here, which is how the Mistra people got me, because I manifested in jail?

Hey, I wonder if I can still hotwire a car...

I'm there with you as far as being X positive goes. Things weren't so bad for me, but being a mutant is part of who I am. I'd already had the object lesson last year, but this kind of reiterated it.

Besides, life would be a whole lot more boring if I was normal. ;)

From: [identity profile] x-wildchild.livejournal.com
I dunno about you, but I'm a lot more normal like this than I was like that.

Considering some of the stuff I remember about that version of me? Gotta agree with you there.

I'll take tall, hairy and fanged and NOT IN JAIL over short, scrawny and arrested any day of the week.

Also, man, seriously, when I'm out of school and whatever, I'm totally going to go send some letters to some detention centers about making kids in jail read Melville. What the hell? Or was that like some dream logic where I hated it so it was there?

Yes Kyle, forcing juvenile delinquents to read classic works of literature is truly a cruel and unusual punishment that must be dealt with as soon as possible.

Date: 2007-01-28 07:11 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] x-wildchild.livejournal.com
Oh, I don't have a problem with classic lit. Just Melville. No one should have to read that. Ever.

From: [identity profile] x-ccelerate.livejournal.com
Much though it irks me to be even marginally on the Gibney boy's side of this dispute, Moby Dick really would have been an infinitely better book had Melville stuck to the adventure on the high seas portion of his story and left out the abysmally-longwinded dissertation on whaling. If I were going to punish someone by making them read a book, Moby Dick would fall fairly high on the list.

Possibly right beneath James Joyce.

From: [identity profile] x-wildchild.livejournal.com
Yeah, lets never do that again. Ever.
